Mission Statement

At Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church, Oviedo, Florida; In Him we Move, In Him we Live, and In Him we have our being. Walking in the knowledge that it is the Lord who made us and not we our-selves. It is the Holy Spirit that guides us, and it is Jesus Christ who saved us. Therefore, our Trust, our Faith, and Our total Belief is in Him. Lord as we move in you, allow us and direct us to the people and places you would have us to go. Send the lost sheep and those searching for you to this sanctuary. Allow our ears to be opened to hear your Spirit’s directions, and to move quickly to obey you. Lord as we give ourselves to you let souls be saved, lives be changed, and the knowledge of you be spread abroad by our obedience to the True and Living God. We walk in our assignment to Move, to Love, to Live have and have our being in you. We proclaim that we will walk boldly in our assignment in Jesus’ Holy and Righteous Name Amen.

CHURCH MOTTO: 
In Him we live and move and have our being. Our Trust, Our Faith, Our Total Being is in Him. We walk forward in Jesus Christ, led by the counsel of the Holy Spirit, DOING the work off the Lord! AMEN
